PRIVATE BUILDING
AND PRODUCTION OF DURABLE GOODS. RESTRICTIONS IN UNITED STATES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) WASHINGTON, April 7. The production director, Mr Nelson, disclosed today that the production of most durable goods will be stopped by May 3. Orders will be issued in a few days halting most private building construction and prohibiting the use of iron and steel in hundreds of cases.
