The weather was fine and the attendance good, with the track last. The totalisator handled £91,186, compared with £88,872, on the second day last year. For the meeting the total was £187.107 10s, against £177,790 last year. Results:— Nelson Handicap, one mile, First Division: 11/9 Funny Fox 1; 13/12 Dart Gold 2; 9/8 Foxlore, 3.
