INDOOR BASKETBALL
THE NEW SEASON. TO BE OPENED ON WEDNESDAY. The Indoor Basketball season, will be offlcialy opened on Wednesday evening by the Wairarapa Interhouse Association president (Mr L. B. Maunsell) at 8 o’clock. There will be a parade of all teams at this hour and the public are invited to be present. The first round of the competition will also be commenced, and all teams-'are reminded to be on time for the commencement of the games. The following are the times of the various games:— Ladies’ games: 7 p.m.. Banks vC. Smith’s; 7.20, W.F.C.A. B v State C; 7.35, Rangers A v United: 7.50. Garages v P. & T.: 8.20, Woolworths v Codys; 8.40, Sparklets v McKenzies; '9.0, Lancers v State Kitchenette A; 9.15, Cathies B v Vesta; 9.30, McDuft’s A v State Kitchenette B. W.F.C.A. A and Cathies A have byes this week. Men’s games: 9.45. Ruahine v Masterton: 10.5 Ruahine v A.S.C.
