KURDS IN REVOLT
VIOLENT ENGAGEMENTS IN PERSIA WITH GOVERNMENT TROOPS. MANY CASUALTIES ON BOTH SIDES. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) NEW YORK, April 6. An uprising of Kurds in Persia is reported by the Berne correspondent of the “New York Times.” Violent engagements have occurred between Government troops and the revolutionaries, and fighting is continuing. Official Teheran sources have announced that the number of victims on both, sides was high.
