FEATHERSTON
TRADE CONDITIONS LIVING UP TO REPUTATION. (“Times-Age” Special.) Trade has kept up remarkably well during the past quarter in Featherston despite the difficulty at times in obtaining supplies of certain goods. Featherston has an enviable reputation for honest trading, and local shops have always endeavoured to keep their stocks fresh and at reasonable prices. No centre in the Wairarapa is more jealous of its trading reputation than Featherston, and, consequently, residents find that there is no need to purchase their goods elsewhere.
Dairy Industry. The present season is considered to be one of the best ever recorded in the district, and the returns for the season should be very high. COSY THEATRE “DAUGHTERS COURAGEOUS.” An outstanding drama, “Daughters Courageous,” will be shown tonight, the leading roles being in the hands of Priscilla Lane, Rosemary Lane, Lola Lane and John Garfield.
