LADIES’ GUILD. (annual MEETING OF MEMBERS. 1 _—. At the annual meeting of the Methodist Ladies’ Social Guild, the Rev H. S. Kings presided. Mr Kings referred to the deaths of Mrs M. Jackson and Mrs J. Carpenter and votes of sympathy were passed to the relatives. A very satisfactory report and balance sheet was presented, stating that the sum of £l6 19s 9d was in hand to commence the new year with. Mr Kings thanked the members for the work .done during the year. Mrs H. S. Kings was elected president for the year, Mrs N. H. Prior secretary, and Miss Jackson treasurer. After a letter had been read from the secretary of the Guild Fellowship it was decided to join that movement. The Happy Thought was given by Mrs Daysh. A letter was received asking members to entertain delegates to the Missionary Convention in May and this was agreed to. Afternoon tea was supplied by the members.
