MAURICEVILLE WEST

WOMEN’S INSTITUTE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Mauriceville District Women’s Institute will hold a social gathering and dance in the Mauriceville West Memorial Hall on Saturday night to mark its seventh birthday. Special arrangements have been made to ensure that patrons will spend an enjoyable time. Service men in uniform will be admitted free, a decision which is warmly commended by local residents, and will be greatly appreciated by men of the various New Zealand forces. The Institute has performed splendid service in the district since its formation, and the executive officers and members have associated themselves with every movement which had for its object the welfare and progress of the district.
