President Roosevelt returned to the White House today after a weekend at Hyde Park and a visit to New York City in connection with matters concerning his mother's estate. Today President Roosevelt farewelled Mr R. G. Casey (who has resigned as Australian Minister in Washington to become British Minister of State in the Middle East) and will meet Congressional leaders. Tomorrow Mr Roosevelt is to preside at the first meeting of the Pacific War Council.
