SOLDIERS’ CONCERT

OPERA HOUSE ON APRIL 9. IN AID OF PATRIOTIC FUNDS. Soldier sons of the Anzacs will present a concert in the Masterton Opera House on Thursday, April 9, in aid of the Patriotic Funds. The concert has been arranged under the auspices of the Women’s Patriotic Committee. All areas will contribute to a programme of great variety. Camp-fire singing will be one of the features of the entertainment. An outstanding item is promised by Lieut. Chrisp, who has studied the saxophone under Australia’s leading teachers. Seats may be booked at Nimmo s and patrons are advised to book to avoid disappointment, as it is expected that a capacity house will greet the soldiers.
