MEN IN WESTFIELD STRIKE. GENERAL RESUMPTION OF WORK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 29. The release of the 289 men who were imprisoned in consequence of their participation in the strike at Westfield was completed on Saturday. Twenty-five of the men were in detention at Waikeria prison camp and the others were in Auckland prison. With the slaughtermen and other key hands available, there will be a general resumption of killing and the handling of stock at Westfield tomorrow.
