BULGARIA TO FIGHT RUSSIA FILOFF SHOWS GOVERNMENT’S HAND. SEQUEL TO BORIS-HITLER INTERVIEW. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, March 28. According to the Berlin radio, the Bulgarian Premier, Professor Filoff, in a speech in Parliament announced a state of war between Bulgaria and Russia. Professor Filoff said: "Bulgaria’s future cannot be visualised outside the European community, and the first condition for the forming of the European community is the destruction of Bolshevism, which is always dangerous to Europe. Bulgarians are not onlookers in this fight, because they know that their freedom depends on the outcome.” It is reported from Ankara that the Bulgarian troops which have been massed on the Turkish frontier since 1938 are moving away. Following an interview between King Boris and Hitler, Bulgarians are reported to be going to Russia. Moscow radio quotes a report from Istanbul that Field-Marshal Brauschitsch is reported to be in Greece. German parachutists are concentrating in Rhodes, and barges, destroyers, and other shipping are being assembled in Greece, Sicily, and the Dodecanese.
