Mrs Q. M. Inder, of Hogg Crescent. Masterton, has returned home after a prolonged stay in Auckland. Mrs Ginger, widow of the Rev Barton Ginger, died yesterday, a Wellington Press Association message states. The Hon. H. T. Armstrong, Minister of Public Works, left Wellington for Hamilton by the Limited express last night. Mr J. L. Garvin, editor of the London “Observer” from 1908 till recently, has joined the “Sunday Express,” a cablegram states. The Hon. F. Jones, Minister of Defence, left Wellington on Saturday for Christchurch and Dunedin. He expects to be away from Wellington for several days. The Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, Prime Minister, left Wellington by the Limited express last night for Hamilton. Mr Fraser, who will proceed to Auckland after meeting the “Awake New Zealand” organisation in Hamilton today, expects to return to Wellington about Thursday.
