NEEDS OF AUSTRALIA DISCUSSED'IN WASHINGTON. BY PRESIDENT AND LORD BEAVERBROOK. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) WASHINGTON, March 26. President Roosevelt dined and spent the entire evening with Lord Beaverbrook, who is spending the night at the White House. The New York “Herald-Tribune” says that Mr Roosevelt’s discussions with Lord Beaverbrook and also conferences which the President had earlier today with military and naval leaders, centred on Australia, particularly the Australian lend-lease problem.
