ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR
KILLED IN CANTERBURY.
CONTACT WITH HIGH-TENSION WIRE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Mr Robert Stanley Brown, a married man, 35 years of age, of Ayers Street, Rangiora, died in the Rotherham Hospital yesterday following on contact with a high-tension wire, while working at the Waiau Sub-station. Mr Brown suffered burns and was thrown to the ground, being knocked unconscious. He died shortly after his admission to hospital. He was employed as an electrical inspector by the North Canterbury Electric Power Board.
