PAY FOR WOMEN
IN AUSTRALIAN WAR INDUSTRY. SIXTY PER CENT. OF RATES FOR MEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. Pending the establishment of a tribunal which will fix rates for women employed in Government munition factories, it is proposed that female employees be paid sixty per cent of of the present rate paid to males.
