The following are the results of a tennis match played by the Kaiparoro Club against Eketahuna at Eketahuna during the weekend, Kaiparoro winning by 17 sets to 7 (Eketahuna players are mentioned first in each instance):—Women's singles: Mrs Rasmusssen lost to Miss Gallagher 4/6; Mrs Perry lost to Miss Oliver 3/6; Miss Green lost to Miss Dick 5/6; Mrs Berney lost to Miss Harvey 2/6; Mrs Liardet won from Miss Braddick by default; Miss Johansen beat Miss Hansen 6/2. Men’s singles: C. Williams lost to R. Dick 0/6; O’Brien beat A. Hansen 6/5; Rasmussen lost to Falkner 1/6; Quinlivan lost to Isaksen 5/6; Berney lost to D. Olivant 2/6; Doney beat Neilsen 6/4. Women's doubles: Mrs Rasmussen and Mrs Perry lost to Misses Gallagher and Oliver 5/6; Miss Green and Mrs Berney lost to Misses Dick and Harvey 5/6; Mrs Liardet and Miss Johansen beat Misses Hansen and Braddick 6/3. Men’s doubles: Williams and O’Brien lost to Dick and Hansen 4/6; Rasmussen and Quinlivan lost to Falkner and Isaksen 0/6; Berney and Doney lost to Olivant and Neilsen 2/6. Combined doubles: Mrs Rasmussen and Williams beat Miss Gallagher and Dick 6/4; Mrs Perry and O'Brien beat Miss Oliver and Hansen 6/5; Miss Green and Rasmussen lost to Miss Dick and Falkner 3/6; Mrs Berney and Quinlivan lost to Miss Braddick and Isaksen 5/6; Mrs Liardet and Berney lost to Miss Harvey and Olivant 2/6; Miss Johanson and Doney lost to Miss Hansen and Neilsen 2/6.
