MASTERTON STOCK SALE
-V LATE RATES FOR OPENING PENS OF SHEEP. Late rates for sheep were maintained when the opening pens were sold at the Masterton stock sale today. An entry of nearly 2.000 sheep came forward. Early prices were: Fat wethers 22s 6d, 22s 4d: fat lambs. 22s 6d; b.f. wethers. 22s 6d; light fat lambs, 20s 2d; light fat ewes, 10s.
