INDOOR BASKETBALL

THIS SEASON’S COMPETITION. TWENTY-TWO TEAMS ENTERED. Entries for this season’s indoor basketball competition closed on Saturday and twentytwo teams have entered. To enable the committee to grade the various teams and to give each team a practise several games have been arranged for tonight and Thursday evening. The games will be as follows:—Tuesday: Codys v Lancers; W.F.C.A. v Woolworths; Banks v McDuffs, State Kitchenette C v Cathies’* B; Sparklets v Rangers. Thursday: Garages v Smiths; Cathies A v Cathies B; W.F.C.A. B v United; Post and Telegraph v McKenzies; Interhouse v A.S.C. During the past three weeks a special referees’ class has been held, and at the above games the girls will take charge.
