MASTERTON CLUB. RACE FROM WAIPAWA. The Masterton Homing Pigeon Club held a race from Waipawa a distance of 88 miles. The following were the placings:—J. Mayes’s “Big Chief.” time 3hrs 31mins 23secs, 1; A. Pinkney's “Shining Light,” time, 3hrs 32 mins 9secs, 2: L. Wickens’s “Lord Monarch,” time, 3hrs 33mins Bsecs, 3; R. Stewart’s “Old Stock,” time, 3hrs 34mins 52secs. 4; L. Wickens’s “Lady Dainty.” time. 3hrs 40mins 42 sees, 5; W. J. Miller's “Air Spy,” time, 3hrs 41mins 38secs 6. The next race will be from Napier.
