PERSONAL ITEMS HONOUR FOR LOCAL SOLDIER. (“Times-Age” Special.) Lance-Corporal Len Lovegrove, son of Mr and Mrs F. Lovegrove, was among those awarded military honours for services in Libya. He received the Military Medal. Mr E. Taurau has left for Hastings to attend the centennial celebrations of the Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which is to be held there at the weekend. Mr and Mrs Southey, who have been residents here for the past twelve months, will shortly leave to take up their residence in Masterton. Mr Southey was manager of the A. H. Warren Estate, and during their residence here, Mr and Mrs Southey were popular with local residents. Mr R. Tamihaua has returned from Gisborne. ’Mr and Mrs A. Manihera (nee Miss Lena McDonnell, Wanganui), have taken up their residence here. Mr Gilbert Munro has again taken up his residence in this district. Messrs T. Tewiatea and R. Te Whaiti have left to enter a Naval Training Depot. Mrs M. Waiwera has entered the Greytown Hospital for treatment. Mr Pearce, who was on a visit to his brother, has returned to Wairoa. Mr and Mrs F. Lovegrove, who have been on a fortnights' holiday, have returned home. Mr and Mrs Ingram have returned to Martinborough. Miss M. Hatana, of the Pukeora Sanatorium nursing staff, who was on a short visit to her mother, Mrs Bragg, has returned to Waipukurau. Mrs K. Ahipene is an inmate. of the Greytown Hospital where she is progressing favourably. _
