SUCCESS CONFIRMED

LATEST BRITISH RAID IN LIBYA GUNS AS WELL AS PRISONERS CAPTURED. OUR LOSSES RELATIVELY LIGHT. LONDON, March 23. * The latest communique from Cairo confirms the success of the raid reported yesterday on the Tmimi and Martuba areas. The landing grounds at Tmimi and Martuba were shelled. Guns as well as prisoners were captured. Our casualties were particularly light and far fewer than those of the enemy. The R.A.F. is still hammering enemy bases in Libya. Bombers attacked Barce and Derna on Saturday night and other bombers raided objectives in Greece and in three districts in Crete. Yesterday our fighters were in constant action in the forward area of Cyrenaica.
