TRAINED NERSES

WAIRARAPA BRANCH. AN INTERESTING TALK. One of the most interesting talks yet given to the Wairarapa.branch of the Trained Nurses’ Association, was that of Miss M. Hitchman, of the Army Nursing Services, at the monthly meeting last night. Miss Grant, president of the Association, welcomed the speaker. Miss Hitchman, who has recently returned from Egypt, left New Zealand with the Second Echelon, and had seen service in England, Egypt, Greece and Crete. A very full account was given of her experiences which wfere many and varied. A hearty vote of thanks to the speaker, was moved by Miss Higginson, of Greytown, and carried. Supper was served at the close of the meeting.
