KENSINGTON HOSTEL

Jordan) opened Kiwi House, 29 De Vere Gardens, Kensington, as a new hostel for members of the New Zealand services. The sponsor of the scheme is the New Zealand born- Lady Hewitt, who was inspired thereto by meeting, when going home late at night, two New Zealanders who were seeking an underground shelter because they had not enough money to go to a hotel.
