BRITONS IN MOROCCO

ORDERED INTO INTERIOR. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 18. It is learned that Britons in Morocco have been ordered only to withdraw to the interior. The step is similar to that taken’in July, 1941, when Britons on the Riviera were moved inland. A Tangier message says British males of military age, living in the coastal area and ordered to the interior, have been given the alternative of living at hotels at their own expense, under supervision, or entering internment camps. Another message states that most of the men are unable to meet the cost of living at hotels.
