TO FRENCH NORTH AFRICA STOPPED BY UNITED STATES. PENDING AN ARRANGEMENT WITH VICHY. (Bi’itish Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) RUGBY, March 17. The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Economic Warfare was asked in the House of Commons to state the position with regard to the shipment of supplies from the United States to the French in North Africa. He replied that the question was under discussion with the United States Government. The American Under-Secretary of State has now announced in Washington that shipments will not be resumed until a satisfactory arrangement has been reached with Vichy.
