TWO GERMAN E-BOATS SUNK IN CHANNEL. WITHOUT BRITISH CASUALTIES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, March 16. A, successful action against light enemy forces in the Channel yesterday morning is announced by the Admiralty. An official communique says: “Shortly before daylight yesterday, our surface patrols in the English Channel made contact with light enemy forces. A brief high-speed action ensued, which lasted for only 2J minutes. In this action one E-boat was blown up and a second sunk. Our forces suffered no casualties and only minor superficial damage.”
