TERRITORIAL SERVICE APPEALS HEARD. SITTING OF MANPOWER COMMITTEE. (“Times-Age” Special.) Appeals principally in respect to married men called up for service in the recent ballot were dealt with by the Wairarapa Manpower Committee at sittings held yesterday in Carterton, Martinborough and Featherston. There were present, the chairman, Mr T. Jordan, and Messrs F. Cole and L. T. Daniell, members of the committee and Mr G. F. Whitlock, secretary and Crown representative. The following cases were dealt with, the name of the person lodging the appeal being given in parentheses:— Adjourned sine die: Arthur L. Peters, dairy farmer (reservist); William C.
