The same applies 1o spirits and all advertising of liquors is banned. ACTION IN VICTORIA I By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, March 11. War time liquor restrictions which have been imposed by the Victorian Government under National Security Regulations prohibit sales of bottled liquor after 5.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and after 2.30 p.m. on Saturdays. No permits to supply liquor for special functions in hotels will be granted. Liquor will still be obtainable with meals in hotels till 8 p.m. The distance provision for bona fide travellers has been increased from 20 to 50 miles. It has also been made an offence for any person to supply or have possession of liquor within a quarter of a mile of any hall where a dance or entertainment is in progress. The ordinary trading hours of hotel bars are to remain from 9 a.m. to 6 n.m.
