ROTARY CLUB
WEEKLY LUNCHEON. HELD IN MASTERTON TODAY. The weekly luncheon meeting of the Masterton Rotary Club was held at the Y.M.C.A. today, the president (Mr Norman Lee) presiding over a good attendance of members. Sergt. E. C. Coddington was a guest of the club. The speaker for the day was Mr S. B. Maclennan, A.R.C.A., Art Master, Wairarapa College, who took for his subject “Contemporary British Art” (a report of which appears elsewhere in this issue). On the motion of Mr J. Y. Douglas a hearty vote of thanks was passed to the speaker on his interesting and informative address.
