DEMANDED BY BRAZIL. SHIPS SUNK BY GERMAN U-BOATS. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) RIO DE JANEIRO, March 10. The Government announced that it had been proven that the Brazilian ships Buarque and Olinda were sunk by German submarines on February 15 and 18 respectively and therefore Brazil had protested to Germany and demanded satisfaction and due reparations. The Government is also investigating the sinking of the Arabutan off tne coast of the United States with a view to determining responsibility for the action. It is noteworthy that the sinking of Brazilian ships in the last war finally led Brazil to declare war against Germany.
