STATE THEATRE

“BLACK WATCH.” One of the most interesting and dramatic pictures shown on the screen this year is “Black Watch,” featuring Victor McLaglen in probably his best effort to date. It will be presented tonight. The drama unfolded is of special attractiveness and should make an immediate appeal to those who appreciate the highest standard in acting and in dramatic presentation. The various scenes are on an elaborate scale and no better acting vehicle could be provided than “Black Watch.” The story is told in a most stirring manner and there is not a dull moment throughout the presentation. Wherever “Black Watch” has been shown it has proved to be a splendid box office attraction. Myrna Loy has a particularly suitable role and gives an outstanding portrayal.
