LIFE SAVING

EXAMINATION ON SATURDAY. LIST OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES. A life saving examination was held at the C. and A. ladies’ baths, Masterton, on Saturday. Misses Donald and Foster were the examiners. The following were the successful pupils:— Elementary: Misses Joan McGuinness, Joyce Pike, May Sime and Carol Creighton. Intermediate: Misses Joan McGuinness, Joyce Pike, May Sime and Carol Creighton. Bronze medal: Misses Kathleen Stevens, Joan McGuinness, and Joyce Pike. First bar to bronze medal: Miss Ila Me Leilage. Second class instructor: Miss Margaret Macpherson.
