TRIAL BY COURT MARTIAL
OF AMERICAN COMMANDERS AT HAWAII. HELD IN ABEYANCE MEANTIME. WASHINGTON, March 5. The War and Navy Departments have ordered that Admiral Husband Kimmel and Lieutenant-General Walter Short shall be court-martialled for dereliction of duty arising out of the Pearl Harbour disaster. The trial, however, will be held in abeyance till “public interest and safety permits.”
