SCHOOL SWIMMING
COMBINED SPORTS HELD YESTERDAY KEEN CONTESTS WITNESSED. WINNERS OF FINALS. Yesterday afternoon, in the Dixon Street baths, the combined primary schools’ swimming sports were held in perfect weather. There were a limited number of entries from each school, so that the sports could be run in good time. This brought the pick of the swimmers into competition and aroused the keenest enthusiasm. The programme was put through in good time without a hitch, thanks to the good work of various members of the school staffs.
