WHOLEMEAL BREAD
USE TO BE ENFORCED IN BRITAIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 5. The white loaf will shortly be banned and baking restricted to a standard wholemeal loaf, says the "Evening Standard.” The Ministry of Food has unsuccessfully attempted to persuade the public to buy wholemeal bread.
