BOMBS ON BRITAIN

SMALL NUMBER OF PERSONS KILLED. ENEMY AIRCRAFT SHOT DOWN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, March 5. It was officially stated this afternoon that enemy aircraft dropped bombs at points on the south coast. A small number of persons were killed and some damage was done. It is now known that yesterday afternoon an enemy bomber was destroyed off the East Coast by anti-air-craft fire.
