BUILDING SOCIETY
WORKERS’ MUTUAL BENEFIT. BALLOT AND SALE. A general meeting of the shareholders of the No. 2 Workers’ Mutual Benefit Building Society was held last evening for the purpose of allocating money by ballot and sale. Mr R. Krahagen presided over a small attendance of shareholders, and Mr E. Winhall was nominated to draw the marbles for the ballot. Mr J. A. Siemonek, Masterton. was the successful shareholder at the ballot, and being the holder of two shares was declared entitled to a loan of £4OO free of interest. A tender of £2O for £2OO was accepted in the No. 2 Society and a tender of £142 10s for £4OO offered for sale in the B Group was accepted.
