Gold Salute is looking well and galloped seven furlongs in 1.28.' at Mentone. He will run in Saturday’s V.R.C. Farewell Handicap. Mildura covered four furlongs in 50J, in view of his Lloyd Stakes engagement. Hesione and Beaulivre did steady work and look well. An Enfield-Andromeda colt was sold for seven hundred guineas to Mrs G. Hore and will go into M. Crossley’s stable.
