STATE THEATRE

“THAT CERTAIN SOMETHING.” Argosy Films’ first Australian production, in which the cast is headed by a young Sydney actress, Megan Edwards, “That Certain Something” will be shown tonight. The film, with its cast almost wholly Australian, typifies Australian youth and life. The picture tells the story of an American motion picture director's search in Australia for a girl who possesses that attractive quality which is not mere beauty or ability, but a subtle combination of both which, together with certain mental attributes, produces “that certain something” that makes her stand out from among all others. The theme is new, and lends itself to bright dialogue, smart action and situations both dramatic and humorous.
