PATRIOTIC SOCIETY WEEKLY CARD PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the weekly euchre party held by the Patriotic Society in the Odd Fellows’ Hall last evening. The card winners were: Ladies, Mrs Charles 1, Mr M. B. Tait 2. Lucky numbers, Mrs Watson. A golf packet donated by Mrs McKain was won by Mrs Lawson. Chocolates donated by Mr S. Reid were.won by Mr N. Burt. The lamb prizes for the month were donated by Mr* Clift Wilkinson. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs Stanley Benton have received word from their son, Despatch Rider Darden Benton, that he had been among the prisoners of war released at Bardia and that at the time of writing he was in hospital. Mr and Mrs J. W. Duffy, Wellington, are the guests of Mr and Mrs S. Benton, Kahutara Road. COSY THEATRE s TONIGHT’S PROGRAMME. “Hullabaloo” (approved for Universal Exhibition) a brilliant comedy featuring Frank Morgan and Billie Burke, and “West Point Widow” (recommended by the Censor for Adults), a delightful story starring Ann Shirley and Richard Carlson, will be shown tonight.
