ON LATE SHOPPING NIGHT. NO DECISION REACHED YET IN WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. No decision has been reached yet in regard to the earlier closing of shops in Wellington on the late night. The Mayor (Mr T. C. A. Hislop) wrote to the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Parry) on February 10, asking if the situation were considered such as to justify earlier closing, but he has not yet received a reply.
