AIR TRAINING CORPS
FORMATION OF MASTERTON UNIT. A further step forward was made yesterday in connection with the formation of the Masterton town unit of the Air Training Corps, when FlightLieutenant Inglis, of Wellington, paid a visit to this district. Membership of the corps is open to approved applicants who are between 164 and 18 years of age and who are of an educational standard not lower than that represented by the proficiency certificate. Full details can be obtained from Mr W. G. Perry, president of the Model Aero Club, Queen Street; Mr C. W. Gaze, secretary of the Masterton Y.M.C.A., Church Street; Mr E. K. Eastwood, public accountant, Perry Street; and Messrs Dunderdale and Grey, secretaries of the Wairarapa and Ruahine Aero Club, Perry Street.
