LATEST OFFICIAL FORECAST FAIR TO FINE. FEW SHOWERS IN RANGES. A few further showers, especially in the ranges, but weather soon becoming fair to fine. Temperatures mild. FURTHER OUTLOOK: Fair. LOCAL REPORT. Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph, 29.88. Shade temperature: Maximum 74.3, minimum 52.5, terrestrial 40.2. Sunshine, 10 hours 24 minutes. Rain, 1 point. Solway:—Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 4 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today.
