ATTACK DEVELOPING
Position on Philippine Front ENEMY MOVEMENTS BEHIND LINES LONDON, February 19. A message from General MacArthur states that it appears that a Japanese attack is developing.. Enemy pressure is increasing on the American lines and heavy artillery fire continus. Troops moving behind the Japanese lines is taken to indicate reorganisation of forces for the resumption of the offensive.
