CROQUET CLUB HONORARY MEMBERS ENTERTAINED. (“Times-Age” Special.) A very pleasant time was spent on the croquet lawn last Saturday afternoon when the active members entertained the honorary members. Despite the unfavourable weather conditions and occasional showers of rain, there was a good attendance. The table in the pavilion was decorated with a large bowl of red and blue hydrangeas and here afternoon tea was served. Miss A. Anderson (president) welcomed the visitors and presented trophies to the following: Angles and peg croquet, Mrs Cittadini; French, Mrs Toohill, runner up,' Mrs Richardson. The trophies were donated by Mesdames Gray and Daniel and Miss M. Anderson. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs M. R. Herbert, Alfredton Road, have returned from Napier. Mrs G. Leslie, Haswell Street, is visiting her son, Mr A-lex Leslie, Huntly. Mrs T. Raleigh, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs Campbell Raleigh,- Alfredton Road.
