YOUNG FARMERS

MASTERTON CLUB MEETING. At the last monthly meeting of the Masterton Young Farmers’ Club, Mr K. Donovan was elected chairman in the absence of Mr W. Cooper. News of the deaths of two members overseas, Pte W. Rayner and Tpr. E. Falloon was received with deep regret. Members stood in silence as a mark, of respect for their fallen comrades. It was decided to send letters of condolence to Mr N. Rayner and Mr A. H. Falloon.

The lecture period of the evening was taken up by a good selection of movie films shown by Mr E. T. Wilson, who was accorded a vote of thanks.
