FATAL CRASHES
SIX PERSONS KILLED IN AUSTRALIA. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) BRISBANE, February 14. Four R.A.A.F. men were killed when two service aircraft crashed near Brisbane. It is understood the planes collided during exercises. The victims were two sergeant pilots and two sergeants. The pilot, Captain E. D. Crisp, and the co-pilot, Captain C. Bernard, were killed when W. R. Carpenter and Company’s Lockheed plane crashed a minute after taking off from Cairns aerodrome yesterday. There were no passengers.
