CHURCH SERVICES

The services at the Masterton Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be conducted by Mr Douglas Storkey. The subject in the morning will be “How Shall I Spend Sunday?” and in the evening “The Uplifted Christ.” Supper will be served after church for soldiers attending the evening service. Back Page (Saturday) The meetings at the Salvation Army Citadel on Sunday will be conducted by Major and Mrs Ransom. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m. and at Taueru at 9.45 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both morning and evening at St. Matthew's Church. In the afternoon services will be held at Rangitumau and Kopuaranga. The evening service at Kuripuni will be conducted 'by the Rev. I. C. Edwards. The usual services of the Associated Churches (Baptist—Church of Christ) will be held in the Odd Fellows’ Hall, Queen Street, tomorrow. There will be a social gathering ahd supper at the close of the evening service. The morning services at the Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by Mr F. G. Rutter, and that in the evening by the Rev. J. A. Daglish. Mr Rutter will conduct the afternoon service at Mt. Bruce. The choir will visit the Masterton Hospital and hold a choral service at 4 o’clock. Mr C. R. Goudge will be the preacher at the evening service at Kuripuni.
