MORE MASS EXECUTIONS. THREATENED IN FRANCE. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association Copyright) VICHY, February 12. The Germans have ordered the execution of 20 French hostages in Tours unless the attacker of a German sentry is discovered by February 14, also the execution of 25 at Rouen unless bomb-throwers are arrested by February 14. Two Communists in Vichy were sentenced to life imprisonment for attempting to reorganise the Communist Party in the Nice and Cannes areas. Berlin reports that 42 Communists were executed in Kaunas (Lithuania) after trial by a special court.
