RUSSIAN SUCCESSES
ADVANCE ON CENTRAL FRONT SUBMARINE SINKS THREE TRANSPORTS. ENEMY FORCES EVADED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, February 12. The “Izvestia” reports that the Germans were dislodged from nine populated localities on the central front. In one of these localities an entire enemy garrison was annihilated. A Russian submarine sank three German transports at an unnamed port, evaded depth charges and reached its base safely.
